Tyler is a strategic communications executive with more than 13 years of experience providing thoughtful, creative counsel to startups and larger brands with an eye on making a measurable impact on her clients' businesses. At Bateman Group, Tyler leads the Brooklyn office and the agency's growing Sustainability/Clean Tech and Consumer Services practices. Her areas of expertise include consumer services and consumer tech; sustainability and clean tech; digital marketing, mobile and financial services technologies; retail, fashion and lifestyle PR; and brand development and marketing consulting.

Through her work with clients such as Animoto, NatureBridge, Greenstart, edo and Recyclebank, Tyler is best known for her aggressive and creative media relations campaigns, regularly delivering exceptional results spanning business, consumer, trade and social media. Recent awards include two 2012 Bulldog Awards – a Gold in the Best Green Campaign category and a Bronze in the Best General Consumer Campaign category; a finalist nomination for the 2012 Gold SABRE awards in the Consumer Marketing (New Product) category; a Society for New Communications Research Excellence award in the Corporate External Communications and Communities category; and a finalist for PR News’ CSR Awards in the Social Good category.

In addition to her work with the Bateman Group, Tyler maintained a roster of clients in the lifestyle, fashion and consumer services sectors, and has secured coverage or appearances with The Early Show, Martha Stewart Show, Today Show, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Food Network Magazine, Real Simple and People Magazine. Prior to joining the Bateman Group in 2003, Tyler was an analyst for Compass Point Partners, a hedge fund in San Francisco focused on fundamental research, where she covered healthcare, technology and specialty retail. She started her career in public relations FitzGerald Communications in San Francisco, driving media relations and corporate awareness programs for consumer technology products and services companies such as online privacy pioneer TRUSTe and Classroom Connect, an online education software provider, as well as biotech and pharmaceutical companies such as Corixa and Pharsight.
